In a remarkable feat, prestige developer Spyre has achieved an exceptional milestone by surpassing its own set record with an astounding $24 million sale on Queensland’s Gold Coast – an achievement standing $4 million over their previous high-rise price tag.
The amalgamated apartment smashed all expectations and competition by taking the title at $24 million, superseding the previous reigning champion, the record $20 million Glasshouse penthouse sale last year.
Spyre Director Andrew Malouf said the sale demonstrates the demand for ultra-luxury one-of-one residences in the Gold Coast and South-East Queensland property market.
“The sale underscores an unmet demand for bespoke homes with the finest design and quality, across an expansive, multi-level apartment,’’ he said.
Spyre’s Managing Director Daniel Laruccia said “Glasshouse was initially designed as a three-residence development. However, in response to the increasing demand from buyers, two of these residences were seamlessly combined, resulting in an offer that truly captivated the market.”
The amalgamated three-level apartment at Glasshouse will feature a full master retreat with an 11-metre frontage, providing direct ocean views from a private balcony.
To accompany the views and balcony spaces, the residence boasts a full-sized secondary living room, an additional media/tv space, complete guest suite, six car parks and a pool.
The sale was spearheaded by Amir Mian of Amir Prestige Group who said “Glasshouse hosts what I firmly believe is Queensland’s best address, Spyre has delivered an architectural masterpiece with this offering and it has been a great pleasure to be involved in the sale. A price record like this is so befitting of the offering, something completely unrepeatable.”
A testimony to its name, floor-to-ceiling glass panels invite an uninterrupted shoreline view throughout Glasshouse, capturing the very essence of its Burleigh Heads address.
This Glasshouse sale forms the latest feat in a series of multi-million results for Spyre.
In the past two years alone, Spyre has sold 10 properties for more than $5 million with six of those properties transacting for more than $10 million.
Earlier this month, Spyre clinched the $10.95 million sale of its sub-penthouse at its six-residence Moray House development at New Farm on the Brisbane River.
This followed the sale of the two-level penthouse at Moray House in January for $15.75 million, which broke the record for Brisbane’s most expensive apartment sale. Shortly after this Spyre broke the record for internal square metre rates in March with the sale of their Arc Penthouse in Toowong for $13.6 million.
The sale of this amalgamated residence is the most recent achievement in its market, further solidifying Spyre’s position as a leader in luxury real estate.
